Our Services

Transportation Program

The “Access to Healthcare” transportation program ensures low-income elderly, non-wheelchair disabled, and chronically ill individuals can reach vital medical appointments like cancer treatments, dialysis, and specialist consultations.

Serving an eight-county area, rides are provided not just locally but to cities like Twin Falls, Boise, or even Salt Lake City, when needed. Beyond medical care, the program also covers trips to the pharmacy, grocery store, and legal or tax-related appointments.

What makes this program special? It’s entirely volunteer-based and free of charge. Compassionate, trained, and insured volunteers use their own vehicles to provide reliable rides, making a significant difference in the lives of those without financial means, transportation options, or family support. For many, it’s their only lifeline.

To ensure smooth coordination, clients are kindly asked to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for transportation requests. Because sometimes, a ride to care can mean everything.

For many older adults, IVC is a lifeline that provides a measure of independence to people who cannot drive, due to mobility, physical or cognitive disabilities, are unable to utilize public transit or lack other means of transport.

Non-Emergency Medical Transportation Services

Do you need safe, reliable transportation for medical appointments or other essential outings?
Our non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) services are here to help. Designed for individuals who don’t need emergency medical care but still require dependable transport, we prioritize your safety, comfort, and peace of mind every step of the way.

What We Offer

Whether you’re heading to a doctor’s appointment, therapy session, or an essential outing, we’re here so you can focus on your well-being—not the logistics. Your comfort and safety matter to us. Book your ride today and experience the difference of transportation you can trust.

Home Modification Services

IVC’s home safety modification program offers free assistance to low-income seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those with chronic illnesses. Through volunteer efforts, we install handrails, and grab bars to make homes safer and more accessible.

These modifications help participants feel secure, maintain their independence, and age comfortably
in their own homes. Beyond safety, they provide peace of mind, ease anxiety, and improve everyday activities like getting dressed or moving around the house. For many, the ability to confidently live alone or access transport for medical appointments is life-changing.

With your support, we’re creating homes that empower people to thrive.
